WORK89 began with a simple question: what if a capable worker did not have to remain on one street corner all day just to be seen?
WHY WORK89 EXISTS
Good workers should remain findable.
Across many communities, plumbers, painters, electricians, welders, gardeners and other workers wait at known roadside points holding placards with a skill and telephone number. Their ability is visible only to the people who happen to pass at that moment.
WORK89 extends that temporary visibility into a searchable work profile. A worker can list several skills, broad location, availability, approved work examples and an optional public work number. They can still use familiar pickup points, but may also remain at home, support family, tend a garden or complete other work while remaining discoverable.
For a hirer, WORK89 reduces the need to drive around hoping to find someone. Individuals, households and organisations can search by skill and area, review public profiles, agree clearly and build trusted records from real completed work.
